Project Manager (Microsoft Practice)

Job Summary:
- Develop, manage and deliver a project plan on time, on scope and on budget.
- Lead the organization and planning of the development schedule based on the methodology that has been developed to create a cohesive plan with identifiable critical path, task dependencies, and major milestones, and manages the agreed project plans and schedules, ensuring successful completion within scope, budget, time, and quality parameters
- Provide project status and steering committee updates and testing/defect resolution status
- Manage project financials, Statements of Work and Change Orders
- Manage all phases of the testing cycle (unit, integration, UAT, performance, etc.)
- Perform Organizational Change Management activities; communications planning, stakeholder management, and learning management
- Create, implement, and monitor the processes for requirements gathering and prioritization, test tracking, defect tracking and resolution
- Elicit and think critically of business requirements, perform analysis and facilitate requirements prioritization
Requirements:
- 10 years of engagement and project management for large (Microsoft) custom development engagements
- 5 years of custom development, portals, and/or content management consulting
- 2 years of Agile Methodology project execution with deep understanding of Agile principles
- 2 years of RFP/RFS responses development
- 2 years of experience of Agile estimating, managing a product backlog, sprint planning, and other
- 1 year of playing the Scrum master role for a large custom development project
- 5 years of either development or business analysis experience on large custom development programs
- 2 years working with Cloud-based projects and/or Microsoft Dynamics deployments.
- Scrum Master certification
- Experience managing Agile development teams in an off-shore model
- Ability to effectively communicate risks, manage scope and prioritize features and issues.
- Project labor accounting processes experience (time cards, weekly labor hours, burn report, forecasting)
- back-office support experience for account team in a delivery or services organization.
- Solid grasp and application of the Systems Development Life-Cycle process and Triple Constraints Triangle
- Deep understanding of the Microsoft .NET custom development, Dynamics, SharePoint
- Highly motivated, organized, and the ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, i.e. conflict resolution, facilitation, coaching, success recognition etc.
- Bachelors Degree
Travel:
- Regular and expeditious travel throughout the United States and occasionally overseas is required to meet client needs and timetables
- 100% Travel role, with a Monday – Thursday typical travel schedule
